SANGA AND MAHELA UNDER PRESSURE

Sanga and Mahela Pressurised to take captaincy reigns

These days a common subject spoken around is that either Sangakkara or Maheha Jayewardena would be given the task of captaining our National cricket team once again.
Different views are aired by various people. Some disclose that after handing over captaincy reigns to Dilshan there had been several disputes amongst players as a result of disunity Sri Lanka had to face several defeats.
However JVP Member of Parliament Vijitha Herath had aired other views. He says that owing to captaincy talks both have got tensed and pressurised. According to him Sri Lanka cricket (SLC) has been politicised and let Sanga and Mahela be left alone.
The M.P. of JVP’s views are as follows:
Both of them participated as captains in the previous ICC World Cup tournaments. They themselves withdrew from the Captaincy reigns on their own. Now politics has come to stay in SLC. Ministers come in clusters to vote. When Mohan de Silva withdrew it was a victory for politics. To forget about the SCL bungle they talk about changing captains. Both of them do not like it. Both are now tensed and pressurised. Now the politicians have taken up a case about a cancer hospital dispute. It is not good news for our future cricket.
