EDUCATION MINISTERS WITH BACKBONES

There were only 3 Education Ministers in this country with backbonescommented by Reginald Cooray 
while Bandula Gunawardena was watching:

At a ceremony held at the C.W.W. Kannagara Vidyalaya in Matugama in connection with the admission of students to Grade 1, Minister said boldly that there were only 3 Ministers of Education with proper backbones. They were Minister Kannagara, Minister Iriyagolle and Minister Richard Pathirana. This was told in the presence of Minister of Education Bandula Gunawardena.
What he said was:.......
To our education system a correct vision was only known to 3 Ministers of Education who had strong backbones. Minister Kannagara comes first, then Ministers Iriyagolle and Richard Pathirana. No one had emerged since then. This was told in front of Education Minister,Bandula Gunawardena who did not utter a word and only listened.
