The person who was ambitious to become the District Medical Officer had attempted to gain his position soon by killing the entire family of the current DMO by poisoning him and his family. SSP Vas Gunawardana suspected poisoning

BIRD FLU CASE REPORTED FROM BINGIRIYA

There is danger about Bird Flu. Authorities have disclosed last evening: From Bingiriya in the Kurunegala district it has been reported that from a Birds (fowl) farm about 50 % had died suddenly without any reason.
